The Stain Sports is a blog created by Torsten Sporn and Shaun Kernahan.  The idea came one Sunday afternoon watching a Rams-Falcons game when Matt Ryan got sacked so hard, he was left with what was no doubt a poo stain on his pants.  We had always wanted to do a blog, and we saw this poo stain as the perfect jumping off point to share our sports opinions and strange observations with the world of sports. Originally named Matt Ryan’s Poo Stain when founded on February 3, 2011, we have rebranded to focus on The Stain name (plus it is awkward when the original name is brought up in a job interview).

   

Torsten is an Avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, HSV Hamburg, Wigan, and Tottenham-Hotspur.

Shaun is a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, and the USMNT.
